Hello!
I've been using Hostmaria for 2 years now and love it, I noticed something new now though, when I visit any WordPress site I build on it, I have to go through ReCaptcha each time and my clients aren't happy about that. how do I turn it off?

Good evening,

Can you show a screenshot, please?

If this is recaptcha > you should remove it from your WordPress website.

Here are just few of the steps you should check.

1. Removing reCAPTCHA from Contact Forms:

Identify the Contact Form Plugin: Check which plugin is handling your contact forms (e.g., Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms).
Disable reCAPTCHA: Most contact form plugins have a setting to enable or disable reCAPTCHA. Look for this option in the plugin's settings.
Alternative Security: Consider using other security measures like honeypot fields or Akismet to protect your forms.

2. Removing reCAPTCHA from Comments:

Check Comment Settings: Go to Settings -> Discussion and look for options related to comment moderation or spam protection.
Disable CAPTCHA: If available, disable the CAPTCHA option.
Alternative Spam Protection: Use plugins like Akismet or other comment moderation tools.

3. Removing reCAPTCHA from Login Page:

Check Security Plugins: If you're using a security plugin, it might be adding reCAPTCHA to the login page. Check the plugin's settings to disable it.
Custom Login Page: If you're using a custom login page, you'll need to edit the code to remove the reCAPTCHA script.

4. Removing reCAPTCHA from Specific Forms:

Edit Form Code: If you have custom-built forms, you'll need to edit the form's code to remove the reCAPTCHA script.
Use a Different Form Builder: Consider using a form builder that doesn't integrate reCAPTCHA by default.
